Before St. Joseph's was built in 1888

The Denver Water Board supplied the photo below, showing how St. Joseph's land looked in the 1880s. Less than 10 years later, the church was built as shown in the picture showing its cornerstone. Twenty-three years later, in 1911, St. Joseph H.S. graduated its first class!
